DZIADEK DO ORZECHÓW

The evening ahead promises a magical blend of Christmas spirit and the brilliant music of Piotr Czajkowski, creating a memorable (and heartwarming!) performance that will appeal to audiences of all ages. Klara, caught between childhood and adulthood, feels out of place at the large family Christmas party. The mysterious toy maker, Drosselmeyer, gives her a wooden doll – a nutcracker – which transforms into a real prince when Klara falls asleep. However, it's not just the doll that undergoes a transformation. The guests turn into mice and rats, and the Christmas presents come to life, dancing to Drosselmeyer's commands. In a world where everything is larger than life, the prince and Klara must battle the animals, led by the terrifying King of Mice… We eagerly await the moment when the curtain rises and we enter the magical world of the characters. It will be a wonderful experience to know that there is someone in the audience who is seeing "The Nutcracker" for the very first time and is amazed by it. This certainly won't be the last! The theater management reserves the right to make changes to the program, cast, dates, and format of the event. In the 2026/2027 season, Evelina Volodchenko will participate in the "Dancer Resident" program. The residency is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of the Dancer Resident Program, co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
