About
Vladimir Jurowski conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra in Tchaikovsky’s ballet score, brimming with melody and drama. In the composer’s hands, this simple fairy tale grew into a ballet score without equal, a feast of melody and an intensely human drama of destiny, redemption and (above all) love. A young princess, a wicked witch, and a long, long sleep: everyone knows the story of Sleeping Beauty .
