Vivaldi for Many

Sparkling concertos give wings to the soaring talents of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in a celebratory all-Vivaldi programme. Tonight’s programme puts the whole ensemble in the spotlight to celebrate 40 inspiring years of making music together. The evening unfolds as a finely curated sequence of concertos, crafted to highlight each instrumentalist. We go beyond Vivaldi’s most familiar works to discover a treasure trove of musical jewels, including L’estro armonico (Harmonic inspiration) – the 12-concerto set that flung open the doors to international fame for the composer.
