The Marriage of Figaro

When Count Almaviva attempts to prevent the marriage of the wily valet Figaro and his quick-witted fiancé Susanna, the pair must enlist the help of the slighted Countess. Set in a manor house in revolutionary America, this San Francisco Opera production of Mozart’s endearing comedy is a careful inspection of the social constructs of power and class.
