About
Reed Tetzloff gained international fame as a lyrical star in the 15th Tchaikovsky Competition (SnoB Magazine), and subsequently solidified his position on the world stage as an outstanding artist, praised for his artistic intelligence, impeccable technique, and virtuosity (South Florida Classical Review). Tetzloff's recent career has been marked by a series of groundbreaking recording projects for Aparté. In 2025, he began a major collaboration with Sir John Eliot Gardiner and the Luxembourg Philharmonic, releasing a highly acclaimed recording of works by Grieg and Schumann. The 2026/2027 season includes several prestigious debuts, including performances with the Mannheim Chamber Orchestra, the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, and Pegasus the Orchestra in New York. He has performed recitals throughout the United States, as well as on international stages such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Robert Schumann-Saal in Düsseldorf, De Singel in Antwerp, Place Flagey in Brussels, the Théâtre d'Angoulême, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and the Seoul Arts Center. Tetzloff was born in Minneapolis. He studied with Dr. Paul Wright before moving to New York to study at Mannes College with Pavlina Dokovská. During his first year and a half of undergraduate studies, he won two of the school's top prizes – the Conservatory Concert Competition and the Nadia Reisenberg Prize – which led to his debut performances in New York at Alice Tully Hall and Kaufman Center. He is currently pursuing a doctorate at the Peabody Institute under the direction of Richard Goode. Paweł Kapuła is a young conductor with a rapidly developing career, and is admired for his mature interpretations of a wide range of symphonic works, as well as for his excellent conducting style. After his debut with the Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra, where he led the orchestra in the absence of Maestro Stanisław Skrowaczewski, he was hailed as a rising star in Polish conducting. On September 9, 2026, he made his debut at the BBC Proms in London, conducting the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall. In the 2026/2027 season, he will perform with the Gulbenkian Orchestra in Lisbon, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Copenhagen Philharmonic, the MDR Sinfonieorchester of Leipzig, the Danish Chamber Orchestra, the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, and the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk. He will conduct the final concert of the Wawel at Dusk festival in Kraków and inaugurate the 81st Chopin International Competition in Duszniki-Zdrój with the NMF Orchestra of the Wrocław Philharmonic and Chopin Competition laureates Piotr Alexewicz and Tianyao Lyu. In March 2026, Maestro appeared alongside Martha Argerich, conducting Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. In previous seasons, he has performed with the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, the Bremer Philharmoniker, the Staatsorchester Mainz, and the Japan Philharmonic in Suntory Hall in Tokyo, as well as with Chinese symphonic orchestras from Xi'an and Guiyang, and the Ulster
