About
This concert features Clemens Schuldt, Bryn Lutek, Lauren Margison, Gordon Bintner, Orchestre symphonique de Québec, Chœur de l’Orchestre symphonique de Québec, and David Rompré. The program includes Vivier’s Chanson à la mort, Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, and Brahms’ German Requiem. The atmosphere blends three centuries of music, starting with a sound evoking carillon-like tones with Balinese resonance, moving through Mozart’s tragic yet graceful minor-key symphony, and concluding with Brahms’ deeply moving Requiem, inspired by Lutheran Bible passages.
