From a solo piano's introspection to the interplay of two pianos, and finally to the captivating dialogue of three pianists, "Hearing 100 Years of Craftsmanship" showcases the rich and diverse world of piano music through classic works spanning different eras and styles. This concert features performances by pianists Liu Jixi and Maggie Mac, with a special guest appearance by Nikolai Saratovsky, who will perform Bach's "Concerto for Three Pianos in D Minor." The performance will highlight the intricate and elegant contrapuntal structure of Baroque music through the use of three pianos. The program begins with Satie's "Gymnopédie No. 1."
