About
The flute solo concert typically features a flute and piano pairing, but Chen Hui-Mei, who is a great admirer of French music from the 20th century, has specially invited the renowned guitarist Su Meng-Feng, who also studied in Paris, to perform. They will present a selection of French compositions that are rich in musical storytelling and stimulate imagination, showcasing a wide range of musical styles. The guitar is a very charming instrument, and I believe it is also one of the most popular instruments among the general public. Chen Hui-Mei was invited by Taiwanese classical guitarist Ye Deng-min several years ago to perform a series of concerts throughout Taiwan using a flute and guitar combination.
