The Wood Tale

The "Wood" element in the Five Elements: Life growing over time. A tree begins with a single seed. It takes root and grows upwards, leaving behind rings of growth over the changing seasons and the passage of time. Through continuous accumulation and expansion over time, it records the environment. The "Wood" element symbolizes growth, development, and upward striving. It is associated with spring, dawn, and the awakening of all things. It represents the natural vitality of life, progressing from germination to maturity, and from individual to interconnectedness. Each ring of growth is a trace left by time.
