About
The performance, themed "Homeland and Faraway," showcases the artistic trajectories of two flutists as they gradually converge through different musical training and performance experiences. Both 林薏蕙 (Lin Yi-hui) and 游瑞玲 (You Rui-ling) have backgrounds in overseas study and have long been active in performing and teaching in Taiwan. This concert transforms the life experiences and unique qualities of the two flutists into a musical dialogue between the two flutes, making "homeland" not only a geographical place but also a symbol of the process by which the performers return to their original artistic roots and re-examine their sonic memories.
