About
Singing together brings light into the dark season and gives us moments of peace. We invite you to join us on Sunday, November 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the city church to sing familiar Advent hymns and share the anticipation of Christmas. Look forward to a special musical experience: The choirs of the Reformed and Lutheran church communities have come together to enrich the evening with beautiful choral pieces. The city church choir, the Lutheran church choir, and the "Get-up – Gospel & more" choir of the city church will also be present. A special highlight awaits us with the community hymns: The brass ensemble "The Sound of Christmas" will festively accompany the singing of the community and give the church a radiant sound. The musical direction will be provided by choir leader Yi-Wen Lai (ref.) and choir leader Stefanie Schwarz (luth.). Both warmly invite you to experience the singing in this particularly special atmosphere of the beginning of Advent. To conclude the evening, everyone present will sing together the touching song "How shall I receive you" by Paul Gerhardt. Come and sing with us, and let us welcome the Advent season together. We look forward to seeing you!
