Mängelexemplar

The Synth Wave Duo Mängelexemplar from Düsseldorf was founded in 2011. The music is characterized by analog sounds, intricate melodies, cool synthesizer tones, and drum machines from the early 80s. Minimal electronics, danceability, angular-sloped vocal lines, as well as playful yet experimental sounds are constant elements. The precise characterization of the musical style is difficult due to the great stylistic variety. The cult band Mängelexemplar stands for a minimal art form without the claim of a complex explanatory model and for a minimalist, pure sound and dance experience. The concert ticket grants access to the after-show party.
