A particularly successful proponent of this genre is the "Staatsbad Orchestra". The founder and director of the Staatsbad Orchestra is György Kovacs, who was born in Hungary and studied clarinet, earning his diploma from the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest. The daily spa music is performed by a group of up to seven musicians, in the mornings and afternoons, except on Mondays. In the winter months, the orchestra performs with a smaller ensemble. The spa concerts feature a mix of music, including operettas and overtures in the first half, and musical and popular songs, swing, Dixieland, and more in the second half. Special concerts often focus on specific themes, such as a trip to Italy with music by Verdi and Rossini, or French composers like Bizet and Massenet. The most popular concerts are the Wednesday and Sunday afternoon concerts.
