Between Songs and Shadows

Generalmusikdirektor Omer Meir Wellber, playing the accordion, and mezzosoprano Valerie Eickhoff, together with musicians of the State Orchestra, present an interdisciplinary song evening between sound, dance and memory. At its center: compositions by Kurt Weill, Hanns Eisler and Ella Milch-Sheriff. And the poem 'Remembrance' by Langston Hughes, an icon of the American civil rights movement of the 1960s.
