ConFusion - Klassik trifft Club

Some things in life have their rules – pineapple doesn't go on pizza, classical concerts are stiff, and dancing properly only happens in a club. Or do they? At DanceConfusion, the evening continues after an intense concert experience in the Großer Saal – with the live electronic band Karakum in the foyer. For the second time, the Gewandhaus invites you to »DanceConfusion«, breaking the boundaries. On November 14, 2026, the evening begins in the Großer Saal – with Dvořák's 9th Symphony performed by the Gewandhausorchester under the direction of Andris Nelsons. And then? We welcome you to a new world in the foyer. We bridge the gap between classical music and the club, when the E-Geige and the band take Dvořák's music into the night and we dance to unforgettable beats. Music without a dress code – only with curiosity. An evening for everyone who wants to feel classical music, not just hear it.
