About
In a remote library in northern Scotland, uncomposed works of deceased composers are stored. Among them are Pergolesi's Ubi erat Pater, Mozart's La Vendetta di Cherubino, Mendelssohn's Loreleis Abgrund, Schubert's Sturmbeschwörung, Schumann's Situationen, and Chopin's Grande Sonate Sableuse. A reconstructed half-symphony by Mendelssohn, based on fragments, was created by Luukas Hiltunen. The event explores the unrealized potential of Mendelssohn's Sixth Symphony, reflecting on his unfinished work and the circumstances of its creation.
