Symfonia pokoleń

"Symphony of Generations" is not just a gathering of artists on one stage, but also a symbolic passing of musical passion and experience to future generations. Anika Rehmus, a graduate of the symphonic-operatic conducting program at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, where she is currently pursuing her master's degree, will conduct the orchestra. She has developed her skills through numerous masterclasses and international conducting competitions. Since 2024, she has been leading the orchestra at the State Music School I and II Grade in Grudziądz, combining artistic activity with education and promoting music among young people. The evening will open with the dramatic overture to Giuseppe Verdi's opera "La Forza del Destino." Subsequently, Mikołaj Sarad will perform as a soloist in Henri Tomas's expressive and virtuosic saxophone concerto. The concert will conclude with Antonín Dvořák's Eighth Symphony in G major – a work full of melodies, vibrant rhythms, and inspiration from Czech folk music.
