Shortly before his performances of Johannes Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 2, this year’s Artist in Residence of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra will first appear in Hamburg in an intimate setting at a chamber music concert: Together with members of the orchestra, Andsnes will perform piano quintets by Luigi Boccherini and Robert Schumann.
