The phenomenon of Étienne Charles is making its debut at DR Concert Hall with a vibrant Caribbean music festival! Following last season's "Slave of Denmark" concerts, where Charles was involved in the music, he now performs with the DR Big Band in a thrilling fusion of Caribbean music and modern jazz. Titled "The Caribbean Connection," Étienne Charles will present songs from his latest album with the Creole Orchestra, mixed with music from his previous collaboration with the DR Big Band, which had the audience on their feet in Studio 2. This time, Étienne leads the band himself with his trumpet and vocals, while also arranging all the music for a concert where the DR Big Band's powerful sound meets warm grooves and dancing rhythms. The Cuban percussionist Eliel Lazo will also be a guest musician, adding explosive energy to the band – a true Caribbean Connection! In the foyer of DR Concert Hall, you can enjoy small dishes and accompanying wines in a pleasant setting, setting the stage for a perfect evening. We offer "Everything on one board" so that you can enjoy the small dishes served together on a tapas board. NOTE! If you are vegetarian, have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform us Monday to Friday within the ticket office hours, no later than 2 days before your visit.
