Nizar Rohana is a master of the ud, the traditional Arabic string instrument. He effortlessly combines virtuoso playing with melody and intimacy. Together with Tony Overwater on double bass and Ruven Ruppik on percussion, he forms the Nizar Rohana Trio. Tonight, the trio welcomes ud player and kindred spirit Yasamin Shahhosseini for the presentation of their new collaborative album, Sujoud . An album that brings together the Arabic and Persian ud traditions.
