Semperoper Dresden
The Semperoper is the opera house of the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden and home of the Staatskapelle Dresden, one of the world's oldest orchestras. Designed by Gottfried Semper and rebuilt after wartime destruction, the magnificent neo-Renaissance building reopened in 1985. It is one of the most beautiful and acoustically distinguished opera houses in the world.
