Boston Symphony Orchestra
Founded in 1881, the Boston Symphony Orchestra is one of America's oldest and most celebrated orchestras. Its home, Symphony Hall, opened in 1900 and is considered one of the finest concert halls in the world, modelled on the Gewandhaus in Leipzig. The 2,625-seat hall also hosts the Boston Pops in spring and summer.
