Beijing Concert Hall
Opened in 1985, the Beijing Concert Hall (北京音乐厅) is the home of the China National Symphony Orchestra on West Chang'an Avenue in Xicheng District. With a capacity of around 1,000, it is Beijing's principal chamber-scale concert venue and hosts orchestral, chamber, and vocal programmes year-round.
NCPA Beijing
Opened in 2007 and designed by Paul Andreu, the National Centre for the Performing Arts is a titanium-and-glass ellipsoid set amid a lake in the heart of Beijing, west of Tiananmen Square. Its five halls include a 2,398-seat opera house, a 2,019-seat concert hall, and three theatres, making it China's premier performing arts complex.
